EAST COAST GREENWAY EXPEDITION - 2022

Starting on April 16th, 2022, and finishing on July 2nd, 2022, Shan ran nearly 3,000 miles from Key West to the Canadian border along the East Coast Greenway, making him the first person to run the entire trail. Shan was supported the entire route by his wife, Josh, who completed the Greenway by bicycle, towing their gear in a trailer.


The run/ride was to support the East Coast Greenway Alliance in its mission of connecting people to place. They raised almost $20,000 and brought a lot of attention to the East Coast Greenway. Learn more about their trip below.

RUNNING THROUGH VERMONT - 2023

RUNNING 200-ON-100
JUNE 23 - 26, 2023
FASTEST KNOWN TIME (FKT)

After Josh mentioned that no one had run it before, Shan set an FKT on the 200-on-100 through the length of Vermont. This was the 26th state he had run through. You can read more about it here.

SHAN RUNS ACROSS AMERICA - 2020

3255 miles from San Francisco, CA to Connecticut

Shan completed his first USA run in 2020 with his friend, Callie, driving his camper van. He raised more than $45,000 for FoodShare.
