Final Week - RUN169M4M

The finish line is so close - "only" 1 week and 185 miles away.

After weeks of early alarms and miles and miles on winding backroads, we are on the final stretch of this 1,100-mile journey across all 169 Connecticut towns.

The last few days took us on some familiar roads. One segment was a stretch near Goshen, the only miles we were able to run together during Shan's USA run in 2020. It didn't make the social media updates, but it's on Strava, so it counts. One other segment was on the East Coast Greenway, which we completed in full together. That trip definitely made it into the social updates - marriage proposal and all.

By the numbers, so far: ~ 140 towns, 880 miles, dozens of medals, $3481.94 donated ~

But numbers don’t tell the whole story - it’s the faces, stories, and miles shared that matter most. And when we roll into Hartford with the Eversource Hartford Marathon crowd, we'll be in good company - surrounded by the CT running community, Team CT Children's, and the HMF Inspiration Team as Shan runs the last leg of RUN169M4M.
